The Neoclassic Casita

When 1980s Post Modern Design Meets Industrial

Rich natural timber complimented by 1980s tile, nougat stone and matte black accents all unify the contrasting elements to this designer home in Adelaide’s west. Upon entry, guests are greeted with a large, airy atrium which can be viewed from all rooms of the home housing a cluster of fauna. This open plan living ties in matte black accents, a contemporary leather sofa, rug and linen armchairs introducing the modern “casita” element into this 1980s Post Modern home.

But Wait, There’s More…

Following through to the main Bathroom, a modern timber bath matt has been styled with the soft charcoal towels paired with the 5 Years Of dba candle that is quintessential to all the 2022 homes Anthony completed that year in light of our anniversary. Finishing off with the most personified part of the home, the Rumpus Room features exposed brick strategically not plastered to maintain the 20th century demeanour of the home and has been worked logically into the design since the modern sofa’s hand picked by Anthony allow this room to feel well versed and striking.
